Perinatal Therapy
As an Accredited Social Worker, I provide counselling for mums in the perinatal period.
My passion is in supporting women through the transition to motherhood. With a focus on emotional wellbeing for new mums, you don't need to have a difficult time with a baby, if you have the right support and information.
It is very common for new mums to experience difficult or uncomfortable emotions. Looking after your baby, lifestyle changes, breastfeeding challenges and lack of sleep can have a big impact on your mood and wellbeing.
There may be feelings that you never expected, or you may be worried about how you are going to cope looking after a new baby with your toddler in tow.
When things feel like they are not going smoothly, it is helpful to reach out for extra emotional support.
I support families during pregnancy and in the postpartum period with the following:

Sessions are $190.00 for 50 minutes
Medicare rebates are $68.10
