Dr Sophie Brock, Motherhood Studies Sociologist, 2020

Nothing prepared me for coming home with my newborn baby. Julia provided both practical and emotional support within those first few weeks and it really was such a life changer. I will always be so grateful for her support of me and my transition into motherhood.

Leah S,

2020

Julia arrived at my house at the time we had arranged bringing a home made chocolate brownie and a kind smile. My second son is now 7 weeks old and being able to sit down with a brownie and a hot cup of coffee while Julia held bubba was a joy. We chatted about my parenting values which really helped me to make some upcoming decisions and think about how to prioritise my time. Her suggestions were thoughtful and practical. Somehow during the visit as we talked Julia also unpacked the dishwasher, hung laundry out and cleaned up the kitchen and living room. Thank you Julia!
